Poogan's Porch - Charleston

Poogan's Porch is a restaurant that is perfect for special occasions. The ambiance has a very rustic American feel, which adds to the overall experience. On top of that, they offer delicious free biscuits and excellent service, making it a must-visit spot. My only issue is with the prices. While it may be typical for downtown dining, I find it hard to justify paying $28 for a dish of chicken, rice, and collards. Perhaps their overhead costs are high, or they compensate their staff well. Regardless, I would reserve these prices for special occasions only. Despite this critique, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic. Give it a try!

I highly recommend the chicken and waffles at this restaurant - they were amazing! The shrimp and grits dish was also delicious.
