I stumbled on Metro Diner while running some errands and I’m so glad I did. I took a seat at the counter and had a bird’s eye view of the kitchen at work. The cooks were organized, efficient and moved around the grill and kitchen with ease. My breakfast consisted of a veggie omelet which was stuffed with an abundance of fresh veggies (asparagus, mushrooms, peppers, onions) and I loved the shredded hash browns which were perfectly cooked. First time! We did not know how close it was to the medical center we visit frequently. Traveling from Beaufort makes for a long day. This Diner is only a few minutes away and we enjoyed the food and our server! Chicken noodle soup was more like stew and delicious. Even my husband from Philadelphia said his cheesesteak was very good. Best of all the restaurant was clean! We will return and try breakfast for dinner!

Great local diner feel and the food is good! Dawn, our server, made our experience wonderful. She was very kind and accommodating. I am a picky eater and she didn’t make me feel bad about it. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a great experience at Metro. Has a true diner feel, which we love. Our server Dawn was awesome! She was super friendly and acted fast when we had a small hiccup with a food item. Will definitely come back!
