Fresh Seafood Market - Charleston

The experience here was great. Super friendly, helpful staff and food was amazing! Even though they had no available res online we were seated almost immediately. Good bar menu and an excellent **** Mary. Great portions of food and the salad which is on the app menu was huge, big enough to be a main. Each dish was cooked perfectly. The crab cakes were phenomenal so creamy soft and tender, and not fried. The shrimp in the salad were enormous and so juicy. Everything was perfect and the building itself had a great vibe and decor. Def a good choice if your in the mood for seafood!

Very nice ambiance. Wait staff was fantastic, went out of his way to make it a memorable meal. Risotto was good but on the heavy side of cheesy. Rice was a little more salty then I’d like. Mahi was fantastic and scallops were top notch.

So, so delicious! Stopped in here after a long day of walking around in the heat and it was the perfect place to stop! The fried green tomatoes with pickled okra and cheese pimiento were so freaking good! Then my husband and I both ordered the shrimp and grits. It came with a slightly spicy andouille sausage and it was amazing!!! It's a raw bar with lots of oysters but we weren't in the mood. It must be good, though, because there were lots of people at the bar. The service was great. Very laid back atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!!

Great place for local oysters. Slightly briny and delicious. Knowledgeable staff. Timely service and the food was memorable! The She Crab soup was the best we had in our weekend trip to Charleston! Try the homemade hot sauce on your entree! You'll get a bottle to go it's so good!

Fantastic place! I went with the big fish sandwich which was a bunch of excellent fried fish on a croissant. It was perfectly cooked and fast. Much better than I thought it was going to be. WIsh I lived in Charleston, because I would be a regular customer. Not greasy, but light and flakey. Amazing hush puppies too!
