Bidra med feedbackAfter 2 hours and almost 3 miles into our walking tour of Charleston, we stopped for a delicious lunch at East Bay Meeting House. Linda had the turkey with brie and pesto Panini and I had the Turkey Club sandwich. Both were washed down with sweet tea. A great lunch to refuel for the afternoon walking.
I recently had the best French toast I've had in a while at this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely and we practically had the place to ourselves on a Monday morning.
Last week, I hosted a lovely baby shower and afternoon tea at the East Bay Meeting House for 16 guests who were visiting from out of town. I have been to other places for afternoon tea before, but this experience surpassed all others. The party was flawless in every way! The atmosphere was reminiscent of a charming Parisian bistro set in the world-class city of Charleston. The food was beautifully crafted and served on elegant linens and vintage china. We enjoyed a variety of delicious quiches, teas, and desserts.
We took our two-year-old for his first afternoon tea. The owner and server were so awesome. The food was great. They were so accommodating. They even made my son his own little plate. When we left my son said, ?thank you, teacup man!? I would definitely recommended going here. They are the best.
My wife and I had a great experience at the East Bay Meeting House. We enjoyed their afternoon tea which was both delicious and filling. The afternoon tea came with a pot of tea and a tower of desserts, scones and finger sandwiches. It was delicious! The service was excellent, Robin and Jailene were very friendly and very helpful. They really made the experience great by telling us stories and explaining all of the teas and food. We would highly recommend the afternoon tea to
