Brick House Kitchen - Charleston

This was a first time to dine at the Brick House Kitchen. They normally aren't open in the evenings so this was a special treat. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on owner or diner, they were already out of the entre` I ordered. I made another choice but when our meals were delivered they weren't prepared as the menu read. Even though the food was delicious, it wasn't what we wanted or expected. The homemade Carrot Cake was fabulous though.

Went for lunch, best peach soup I've ever had! Fresh tomatoes and feta salad just a simple wonderful flavorful lunch!

Loved it!! Service was awesome. Food was excellent. Will go definitely go back!!!

Fresh ingredients. We were not offered coffee or dessert. Waitstaff was curt.

I don't even know how to begin, we showed up at 9pm, had a fantastic evening of freshly made and authentic southern cooking, and found out around 10 that they had closed at 9 and kept the place open for us. They were gracious and kind the entire night and I had a wonderful evening. They out did themselves when they didn't even have to. 11/10
