Bidra med feedbackI can't say enough about my first time to Barsa!! From tapas to paella to flan, everything was fantastic. Jake was an excellent server to make the experience even better.
My test of a good Spanish tapas place is how good their octopus is and here, it was perfectly tender and flavorful. Pretty impressed. The couple things I got for myself were really pretty good. Really enjoyed being outside in their patio area, it's remarkably chill and low key. Service when I went was a little understaffed and mixed up on getting the right orders to the right tables, is really the only knock I have on it. If I was a local I'd probably give it a 5 as a
The back patio is so peaceful, you would never guess it is so close to king street. The food was great! Every dish was phenomenal, we got about 5. Prices are really reasonable, about $12 a share plate. You need to get the lamb meatballs the red sauce is lick the plate worthy, hands down. Allison was our waitress and she was amazing, so much hospitality. Will be returning soon!
What a fantastic place! We ordered the olives tapas and the dates tapas and it was divine! For the main entree we had the chicken and chorizo paella which was cooked to absolute perfection, tender chicken and crispy bottom! Grace was our server and she was amazing. She suggested two alternative beers to the Estrella and both were amazing. We ordered three desserts: the flan, the torte, and the apple crisp. All three did not disappoint!
Food and staff were amazing, had a wonderful evening. Our server Isaac was so helpful and we had stuffed peppers and veggie paella. Best dinner on our whole weekend trip to Charleston. The paella took almost a whole hour to cook which was a little suspenseful, but it was very good so I suppose it was worth it. It was kind of dark in the dining room though, some of the guests who were sitting in the center had their phone flashlights on to look at the menus. We were sitting by
