Bidra med feedbackBeautiful local restaurant in downtown Charles Town. A group of 8 of us decided to try Calico Jack's last week and we were all glad we did. There is a decent amount of seating in the restaurant and the decor and ambience fit together. We were immediately greeted by the server in service. He was alone when we left, but it was a Sunday afternoon. He was still very attentive. No complaint with the service. We ordered our food and drinks and drinks immediately. The food took a little longer, but it wasn't a ridiculously long time. Again there was a server and there were several tables of people. The food was excellent. The only problem was that we all wanted more of it. We agreed that the piece size of a few articles was somewhat slim, but it would not prevent us from returning. Overall we had a good time and were happy. They told us when we enjoyed the meal to ring a bell at the door so that the cook could hear it. It was a nice touch. We all stole the bell! I wish this restaurant the best luck and hope that many other people try. We'll go back.
Love the pirate theme decoration and the island feel to it (I'm from the island). Came here with my fiance and loved it. Always passed thru the window but never went inside till last night. Loved it even when there was a mixed up on our food and they was short staffed -one employee Noah was amazing at helping us out and still making things right even our waitress was amazing. Love this place . Can't wait to go back
Family friendly, fun and unique. The food is great and the service is over the top. It is owned by a couple and all of the employees are members of some form of Service (military, EMT, firefighters). This is a tight knit group that all work together to make your visit very intimate and special. I stumbled across this awesome little spot by accident. The smell of great food as I walked by. What Calico Jacks lacks in size it more than makes up for in character and quality. My wife and I just got back from Valentines day dinner. We both agree that we will be going back often. They are in the process of getting a beer and wine license.
I had a wonderful experience with delicious food and excellent service. I highly recommend the churros and Cuban coffee. I'm looking forward to trying the chicken dishes, fried plantains, and yucca in the future. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, making it a lovely place to visit. Stay for dinner; you won't be disappointed!
Charming pirate-themed restaurant located near American Public University. Be sure to try their fantastic sandwiches or wraps, and don't forget to indulge in their must-try key lime cake for dessert before you leave!
