City Kitchen - Chapel Hill

A must try! Amazing food, wonderful ambiance, superb service. We had a wonderful anniversary dinner date. The spinach dip started us off. The catch of the day was delicious and we strongly recommend the drenched chicken with fried artichokes. We finished with the excellent applie crisp ala mode and the braised pair for desert. Our waiter, Mitchell made our meal a delight with his hospitality and engagement. We will absolutely be back!

We had our wedding at City Kitchen and the staff could not have done a better job! From the start they were so organized and helpful. It was very clear that our happiness was their number 1 priority. We were so well taken care of by everyone. Chelsey, Said, and Cassie were excellent communicators. The wait staff was super attentive and we didn't have to ask for anything. Some of the waiters even had to hold up our backdrop during the ceremony (it was windy) and they stepped in to help without missing a beat. Special thanks to Dane for taking care of our table as well as our family tables. This was the BEST experience planning a wedding that we could have had. I have to say too that there's no way there has been or will be a wedding with better food than ours. The hangar steak was cooked perfectly, so tender. The pimento cheese grits were a total winner and we had an amazing mini dessert spread. The staff even decorated for us and the space was so gorgeous more beautiful than we even imagined. I can not say enough great things about this place and all they did for us on our special day. Having a wedding in a restaurant is a bit non traditional and it was the best decision we made!! Thank you City Kitchen!!!!

Excellent food and catering too! I highly recommend this restaurant and give five stars to their floor managers, chefs and kitchen staff! My husband and I will be going back again and again.

Amazing ambiance, food, and staff. Amiel probably the best server I’ve ever had. Definitely going back and recommending to others.

Great place for families or date night! Calamari, scallops and fried oysters are delicious appetizer choices. Great pear and candied pecan salad or beet and goat cheese is a great choice. Sushi is way better here than red bowl, Kim is a great sushi chef!!
