Bidra med feedbackI recently visited Hawthorne’s Pizza Bar to celebrate my wife 's birthday and had a mixed experience. The decor was your typical sports bar/pizza place style, which was cozy and inviting. The service from our waitress was great; she was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. However, the food was extremely lacking. We ordered a half-and-half pizza with Luau and Chicken Bacon Ranch. Unfortunately, the pizza came out soggy with almost no toppings. The Chicken Bacon Ranch side had almost no chicken and no bacon, just a few diced onions. The Luau side had tiny bits of pineapple and just a little pulled pork. The pizza 's looked NOTHING like the pictures from the website, which showed a gorgeous pizza full of toppings. While the sauce was good, for $30 a pie, we really expected more toppings. We didn 't expect an exact replica of what was pictured online from their website but we had hoped that it would have been something close . Felt a little like false advertising. Under-delivered the NY pizza experience in a big way. We want to give this restaurant another try to see if they can still live up to expectations, as others in our family have recommended it highly and love Hawthorne 's. However, at another $30, we may have to take a pass and try another spot for our NY pizza cravings.
Buffalo chicken Inducer pizza was off the chain! Long Island wings were yum! Service was excellent! Thanks, Delli!
My wife and I came here on a Sunday afternoon for their Sicilian pizza with pepperoni pizza and some garlic knots. Delicious ?
Ordered a 18 inch Sicilian pizza with cheese and sausage which is overly priced from the gate just to be paying for dough literally it’s mostly dough and no cheese or sausage or pizza sauce it’s just disgusting this was my first time trying it and last time this place is a rip off and the pizza was very bland just like everything in North Carolina ???? HUNGRY HOWIES , PAPA JOHNS ,MARCOS ,LITTLE Caesars IS BETTER THAN THIS PIZZA
Hawthorne's NY Pizza is reminiscent of the traditional Pizza Hut restaurants in the 90s where the family fathers for a casual dinner in a pub-style restaurant for personal pan or large pie pizza. The wings were cooked just how I wanted them, they just lacked seasnoning, which is the key to flavorful wings before coating in sauce. The service was pokite, professional, and swift. I recommend Hawthorne's for your next pizza night, whether dining in or carrying out.
