131 Main - Chaotte

Great place to eat wonderful service and had a great time with my family. The manager and waitress were so nice and accommodating for my wife. Will definitely be back.

This normally my wife's favorite place to eat. We sit at the bar because our bartenders know our drinks and are very responsive. This routine was not the case on Friday night. It appeared to be a slow time based upon the parking lot when we arrived. It was standing room only around the bar but we found two seats quickly. Our appetizer came out fast. We order the main course soon after. After a 40-minute wait for our food, we learned we had to make a substitution for a side item. Making the change, we waited another 10 minutes and still no food. I could no longer wait. We paid the bar bill and eat fast food for supper at 8:30pm. The staff has lost its focus.

First time at 131 Main. It was awesome. Lilly, our waitress was friendly and we really enjoyed talking with her, as well as the other staff. We both had salmon, asparagus, smashed red potatoes. Shared a shrimp cocktail, deviled eggs, and a crabcake appetizers. We also shared a brownie Ala mode for dessert. ALL Was outstanding. We have already picked out what we are.going to try next. This is a gem of a restaurant. It was completely full at 5:30 when I arrived to meet my friends. I had the Nacho Guacamole appetizer and it had plenty of Guacamole despite the picture. My friends had the trout and one had the Shrimp. Both of them said their dishes were good. I did not know they have pies too so next time I will come for dessert! The server was excellent and she remembered one of my friends who is a go-to customer. Highly recommend for quality and quantity, will be back!

My son and I were looking for a nice restaurant with fresh, quality food. We found 131 Main, the reviews were promising so we decided to try it. The restaurant was very clean! After being seated we ordered the smoked salmon appetizer with toasts and a sauce. OMG! So delicious! Next we ordered our meal. My son had the butterflied trout w/kale and quinoa salad and I tried the shrimp and grits and a salad along with a nice bottle of champagne. Our waitress was attentive and professional! My salad was a simple Caesar salad but the romaine lettuce was so nice and fresh! No brown areas on the lettuce at all!! Every bite of the food was better than the first bite! Very fresh seafood and hats off to the chef! The shrimp and grits had a different take on them, they used prosciutto ham and asparagus tips surrounding the bowl of grits with a simple roux. It was delish! I like my grits to be a bit creamier, these were on the coarse side but still good. I ordered crab cakes w/fries and the fudge brownie and ice cream to go. All so very delicious. The crab cakes were full of big chunks of lump crab meat, fresh, and few to no fillers. The chef maintained the integrity of the crab, nicely done!! Dessert was fabulous! Our attentive waitress boxed our food and champagne! We had a lovely experience! I’m sorry I cannot remember her name but she was beautiful inside and out! I’ll definitely go back again! I’m an excellent cook so to find a place that meets or exceeds my expectations is amazing! Thanks for a great dining experience 131 Main
