Chicken Karahi was good but as somebody who eats a lot I would have liked more for $20. I’m writing this review because I feel like I was scammed. Not in a big way (how big could it be at a small family restaurant) but it was more the feeling that bothered me. The chickeb karahi was $18.99 for bone-in and $19.99 for boneless. I ordered bone-in but the man at the cashier insisted that boneless and bone-in had the same price of $19.99, even though. I didn’t push him on it but I wish I did, even just to ask why they didn’t update the menu billboard pricing yet. Later on while eating it felt like we were getting side eyed by another man who either was part of the staff or who was friends with the staff. Though it’s possible I’m just looking too much into it. Weird experience aside, the interior of the restaurant is not well maintained, the booths are cracked with the stuffing revealed, but overall it’s still clean and not something I normally care too much about. Coupled with the aforementioned behavior, though, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. I tipped 15% which in hindsight didn’t make sense. I ordered “for here” but the cashier forgot and instead asked my friend who ordered “to go” whether I was “to go” and my friend just said I was. Which again is not a big deal but everything added up to a poor experience I feel the need to give feedback about.

Overall, the taste and quality are good. The owner and staff are polite and friendly. I loved everything, but the kheer was especially great. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
