Bidra med feedbackAt the entrance, it was written "30,000 meals sold in one year", so I ordered the "Special Seafood Bowl, including tax, for 1,750 yen" without hesitation. The large bowl had slightly thick slices of sashimi, as well as turban shell and sea urchin on top, so I had high expectations, but it was not outstanding. It was average. However, I think the cost performance is good for this quality and price at a roadside station. The staff were polite and attentive, so I think it is perfect for lunches with small children.
After taking a sightseeing cruise on Lake Toya, we stopped by for lunch. It was just before lunchtime, but it was quite crowded. Even after we finished our meal, there were still many people lining up, so it's better to plan for weekends. The service was surprisingly fast considering the crowd. We ordered the "uni-don" (sea urchin bowl), which had a local sea urchin on top and was fresh, sweet, and very delicious. Although it's not shown in the photo, the fried chicken and pickled bowl were also said to be delicious.
Around 12:30 on a rainy day, the parking lot was almost full at Marusan. I waited as the fourth person in line. We had a nice seat by the sea, but it was raining outside. Being a tourist destination, the prices were a bit on the higher side. The simmered fish in the Senzaki all-you-can-eat set meal was delicious. The udon had soft noodles with a slightly sweet broth that was light and refreshing. I would like to try other menu items as well.
