Serranos Mexican Food S - Chandler

My family and I recently visited your Chandler location on 5.31.2024 at 4pm with high hopes for a pleasant evening out. However, our experience was nothing short of appalling. Upon arrival, we waited for an unacceptable 15 minutes to be seated, despite being right in front of the hostess stand. We left. While I can understand minor delays, what transpired next was utterly unacceptable. The hostess blatantly ignored us, choosing to seat two separate families who arrived after us. As a tall black man with my family, it is impossible to believe we were genuinely overlooked. This blatant disregard for basic hospitality was not only disrespectful but deeply offensive. Being made to feel invisible in such a public setting is an experience I never want to repeat. The idea that such behavior could occur at your establishment in this day and age is outrageous. Due to this incident, we will never return to your Chandler location and will actively discourage anyone we know from patronizing your establishment. A restaurant that condones such discriminatory practices does not deserve our business.

This place has best bean dip and salsa. It's sad I've heard rumors they're closing. Better get a meal in while you can....
