Bidra med feedbackI gave El Zocalo ONE star just because I'm NOT on my way to the restaurant. But the events that followed the terrible decision to enter and eat (gasp! were much more painful anyway. My order was two Carne Asada soft Tacos ala Carte for $14. I expected a quality meal, especially because it is quite expensive and the place is a “upscale”. But instead, I had the worst food and restaurant experience throughout my 38 year of life. The tacos were literally from Gristle. Meatwads with fat strands that keep it in lumps. I couldn't chew it through. I complain and I am NOT a picky eater, but I have something to say. Not only for me, but for future males. A restaurant with integrity would ensure that its customers were happy. You want the possibility to correct an injustice, especially if a customer is concerned, right? I assumed that this was a healthy sense and good business practices, but I was wrong in adoption. I recommended the manager of the situation and even showed him the quality of the obvious (also optically insensitive meat). I thought he would be destroyed that this came out of his kitchen, but no, he didn't worry. When he does not apologise or offers any kind of solution besides the naming of the device that sends the meat to them and claims that he would notify the cook, I asked to be compensated. He took the bill and immediately disappeared into the kitchen and that was the last thing I saw from him. He never reduced the bill. He would not even consider coming with a satisfactory compromise. But what he did is that the server comes to the table to tell me that the manager didn't give me a discount. I didn't hold her at all responsible and made sure she knew that, but also expressed how disappointing the entire experience was. I had to express how disappointed I was with the manager, especially as a representative of the restaurant. His blatant, bizarre and rude behavior and the dismissal of a valid complaint speaks volumes of what little importance is placed on the satisfaction of their customer. I had such disgusting dishes and experienced such an unprofessional place. I have nothing positive about this institution. It's just bad business NOT to appreciate your customers. Too bad. I recommend the proven Serranos on the road of El Zocalo. Better prices, FREE food, better service and a pleasant atmosphere. I have visited this facility throughout my life and I can honestly say that I had NIE even had a complaint.... And their salsa and bean dip served with chips is the BEST in the valley! I would rather represent Serranos this beautiful city of Chandler and his Mexican heritage
The food is always top notch and its by far some of the best Mexican food in the valley... You get your money worth it. It has a great atmosphere and the terrace is beautiful when the weather is beautiful...
My friend and I were on the way to a street fair when we saw the sign El Zocalo, and since we both love Mexican food, we decided to try. Good.
I was here twice, once only for drinks, chips and salsa, which you must pay for chips salsa then last night for dinner. Our service...
I came here more regularly, now I meet my friends here for ladies lunches to use the $8 lunch specials every few months. Lunch is...
