Chateau Des Briottieres - Champigne

I used it on my honeymoon. Many people rent a car, but you can also go by train or bus from Paris and have someone pick you up. It's a quiet place where you can feel the history and countryside, and I was able to experience a different France than Paris.

Married on October 14, the location is perfect. Spacious, intimate, functional. RAS. Very accommodating owner.

We had booked a standard room at the Chateau for one nite. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner and he said since it was off season and a sunday nite, we were the only ones staying there so he gave us an upgrade to a suite at the same cost. He also called in his chef to cook dinner for just us(2) and then left us with the entire chateau to enjoy. It was an outstanding experience and one of our most special moments of our entire trip. What a wonderful place to stay. It's been owned by 7 generations and the current owner could not have given us a better experience. Very grateful for this stay.
