San Maru - Champaign

Our first time in a strictly Korean event restaurant... And it was wonderful and the food was excellent!!! The staff was great and the (owner/manager?? was excited to talk about the menu items and how they were prepared... She even suggested a dessert (a kind of milk/water block shaved ice... that resembles NOTE, as we have ever before, very ornate, lit tasting, with fresh fruit and various colored sauces... Definitely a place to bring family and friends, and we will come again many times!!

Very delicious. I had San Maru twice and I felt it was a good business both times. Very tasty food and a friendly staff (which has been considered short-size (it is expected to be short-size in 2022, the food was excellent with largen portions. Make sure to bring your appetite. It was well packed while my son and I were there, but it was a nice atmosphere. We tend to stay where we go and nobody stares what was nice.

I was looking for a quick lunch I could take on the street and the options in this neighborhood were limited in this respect. I'm so glad I chose this place. Very authentic kitchen, picturesque and comfortable interior, and super friendly staff offers very fast service. As a small entrepreneur, I love to promote any local location, and as a lover of international cuisine, I am excited when I can say that it owns and operates family. My excitement on this was rewarded as the food was excellent. I don't look like the vegetarian type of food, so she gave me a portion of rice along with me at no extra cost. I think she was worried that I wouldn't be satisfied if I didn't get any protein in my lum. It was enough filling and I didn't eat all rice, and only 10 dollars in this neighborhood for lunch is amazing. I'm going back, maybe next time I get some protein. Either I'm sure it's worth it

This is a really amazing korean restaurant! not only is their food great, they have amazing servers, good prices and a nice selection of k-pop playing on the tv :D really recommend , i will always prefer san maru over any other <3 thank you for serving us and we will always come back! :

I absolutely adore the Korean food at the corner diner! The kimchi is mild and the many sides that come with each meal are delicious. This is definitely one of my top favorite places to eat.
