Bidra med feedbackIs a very good place in Cervia near the sea but the price is more expansive than the quality of the food.
This is by far the most expensive restaurant I've ever visited in Cervia. Unfortunately, the food cannot justify the high prices. On the contrary, the food is at best mediocre. We had four different starters, none of them memorable, one even bad. We waited a long time for our primi, pasta alla Tarantina which was fancy name for pasta in tomato sauce. As secondi, we had been recommended a baked fish. The fish was fresh, but the sides consisted of partly burnt partly crude potatoes and other kind of vegetables in an unrecognisable mash. This was probably the low point of our meal. The fish alone costed € 184. Definitely not worth it. In comparison, an excellent dinner in another restaurant in Cervia the night was just over 150€, including two bottles of wine. So just dine anywhere else!
We decided to do a nice date night during our stay at Milano Marittima and reserved a table at 10pm at Al Porto. The restaurant was very cute and the food looked promising from the pictures but we ended up having a TERRIBLE experience. We waited more than 2 HOURS (2 1/2h in total to finish our RAW tasting menu. We got so annoyed after the second course that we wanted to leave since we had been waiting forever for some small raw dishes. The WORST part is that the waiters just decided to leave dirty tables around us and threw old napkins on tables which really pissed us off and ruined our night. It's also about the experience after all guys!!!! When we complained they blamed it on a table with 12 people who arrived late and told us they were busy with them?!?! I mean seriously?! Our food was RAW!!! How long can it take to fix that. The other tables around us had the same problem! Very disappointing!!! From midnight on it really started to get cold and we could not wait to leave and instead of offering us a huge discount for the terrible experience (we would have expected at least 30% discount we ended up paying 160 Euro instead of 169 Euro (I MEAN ARE YOU KIDDING?!?! . IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER TO JUST LEAVE AFTER THE SECOND COURSE... HONESTLY A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, don't go there if you want to have a nice night, most tables around us had the same problem and it seems like they are resting on previous good review and don't care at all.
From place to service five stars deserved! the fish is the undisputed protagonist, exalted and made excellence of this restaurant, from raw to gratinate that is a rarity. a thank you to Mario who knows perfectly the fish and knows how to make it honor. Your belly. Thank you, simona c.
Great personal restaurant very helpful and professional...the fish is fresh and delicious. we were already customers and we will be in the future. Thank you all. German paola and silvano
