Had the very worst fish and chips I have ever had. Fish was literally 95% batter. Completely cheated!

With Aberystwyth being a seaside town I thought I was in for A treat but to my great disappointment this was the worst Gish and chips we have had the misfortune to purchase The chis were greasy and full of stale oil and the fish well yo start with the fork could not break the batter and the cod was so over cooked that it was yellow and rubbery Avoid this place … wish we had Worst chippy I have ever been in

The worst fish and chips I have ever had the misfortune to waste £20 on . Chips cooked to the point of being nearly burned and cooked in dirty oil ,the fish was so overcooked it was like rubber,and the batter was that hard ,I nearly broke a tooth

Alway pay a visit when we’re in Aberystwyth. Conveniently situated opposite the pier, enabling you to soak up the scenery while enjoying your supper.

This is the place to go for fish and chips when they visit butystwyth, right at the sea and a good value for money. must admit that the chips on my second visit were not so good, they were quite dry and crispy, I think we just have to have been unhappy and got the shredded before fresh boiled. Nevertheless, the fish was extremely fresh, hot and salted, only to my taste, it could not complain there. beautiful large portions curry sauce also. would be coming back in future
