Vallarta Coffee Roasters, México

This place became one of my favorite stops in Puerto Vallarta. It is steps away from the Mercado Municipal in the Old Town area. I dropped in one afternoon to cool down while my wife was shopping and got an iced coffee. The air conditioning was on and I was welcomed to the place. In reality, it’s a restaurant, bar, chocolate maker, and coffee roasting company. It’s a nice clean environment with an outdoor patio to watch the daily parade of people and cars. I checked out the menu while waiting for my wife and had a veggie sandwich after she arrived. It was delicious and served with these great wedge potatoes. I went back the following day for a coconut smoothie. I also found some very tempting breakfast items (oatmeal pancakes) to try for a future visit. Staff are friendly and answer any questions you might have. The place has been there around 30 years, so they are definitely doing something right. I’ll be back on my next visit to PVR. By the way, the coffee is very good.
