Bidra med feedbackThe best ala carts dim sum lunch restaurant at Gardens by the Bay! They give you a menu and you could order whatever you like and they serve it to you. 90% of all the food on the menu is nice! Good for families!
The restaurant is currently working with a tour group to support its business, so it is fully booked until later months. Takeaway options are still available. As part of the tour, guests can enjoy a buffet for one and a half hours, with six dishes provided based on the number of people in the tour group. Guests can also request additional dishes by specifying the quantity they would like. The restaurant showcases fresh seafood in tanks at the front, ensuring the utmost freshness. The meal is overall very satisfying and a great addition to the tour package.
In May 2022, following a pleasant walk in Gardens by the Bay, we chose to have dinner nearby. After a significant wait, we finally caught the staff's attention to seat us. It seems they were short-staffed post-COVID. Feeling hungry, we opted for a hassle-free dinner set for four, which included chili crabs. While they were not of Jumbo quality, they were still enjoyable. The highlight of the meal was the adorable yellow duckling buns filled with chocolate fudge. They were so cute that we couldn't bring ourselves to take the first bite.
My family had lunch at this Chinese restaurant on a weekday. This was our first visit since COVID-19. We ordered the "Friends of the Garden" set lunch menu for three people. The steamed buns were soft and we were pleasantly surprised by the duck bun with chocolate oozing out. The fried rice had a nice wok flavor. The only downside was that the claypot tofu fish was a bit too salty for our taste. Our elderly parents dining with us were pleased with the dishes. We left as happy and satisfied guests. I recommend making a reservation online as their phone line is always busy.
Having this restaurant in the middle of the bay is convenient. It's a popular spot and luckily there are vegetarian options on the menu. Just note that the portions are meant for 2-4 people. The staff wasn't very attentive, so we ended up ordering too much food. Prices are on the higher side, with an added service tax. Be cautious if you're allergic to eggs, as many dishes contain them, especially the oily and mixed ones.
