Bidra med feedbackThe atmosphere is cozy and peaceful. The staff is friendly and attentive. The prices for the food are reasonable for the area. The dishes are delicious and not overly salty or greasy.
The first time here, however, is impressed by the quality and taste of the food. Very affordable price too. It was recommended to have the double-release and it was not disappointed. The wooden screen has the right taste and good texture. But I was woven by thundering. Very rich and pronounced taste. The best thunderstorm I've ever eaten. The sucking pig was also good, better than what I had in bigger restaurant like Miao Yi.
The food was delicious with a great selection and reasonable prices.
The cafe is within the building of the Cheng Beng Buddhist Society . I initially thought I needed to take off my shoes coz everyone going in the building was taking them off but actually you don't need to do so at the cafe. Most of the menu is in Chinese so we had to ask someone who could speak English to translate. Vegan options aren't marked, so you need to ask. It's a vegetarian menu. The menu changes daily as well. Flavoursome food. It got very crowded when we left so do go early if you want a table for lunch.
What a pleasant surprise! I had no idea the food at this restaurant was so delicious. I tried the ShuangLiao JiFan for $5, which was a rare find. The vegetarian chicken rice with special vegetarian Char Siew was packed with flavor, and I loved the corn in the clear soup. This place is truly a hidden gem. Just note that they are normally closed on Tuesdays. This update is from a previous review dated September 6, 2019.
