Empress - Central Singapore

A really great place for Chinese food, their weekend lunch menu is a delight. They also have quite a wide range of vegetarian/plant-based dishes which caters really well for my family. Overall I am really liking the food there and the ambience. The only reason why I took a star off is based on the service that afternoon, it was a Saturday hence there were quite a bit of people there for lunch/brunch, but I felt that there was a lapse in the timing of service and attentiveness that day. Would have helped if there was one more floor supervisor to assist, that might have changed things.

Had the dim sum brunch. Best dimsum brunch in singapore hands down. Was so stunned by the delicious flavors and quality of food that my wife had to slap me out of my stupor after the meal. The dim sum, tenderloin beef and sweet sour pork were amazing Service was fast and efficient. Do yourself a favor and come eat here.

Great food options that are healthy as well as delicious. The pics don’t do justice to the taste. The polite helpful staff provided great service. Prior reservation is a must. Hint: weekday lunch is easier to book Will surely come again.

Decent service. peking duck itself was so so, top up $15 to use the leftover meat as second dish. we chose to cook with ee fu noodles and it was delicious. impossible gyoza dish is a must order!

I'm happy to have chosen Empress as my wedding lunch venue. Although the location was not the most convinent, their service was top notch. I have guest complimenting on the warm service and good food! Thankful to our coordinator Jack, who is very professional and helpful throughout the day. The entire event went smoothly with his coordination.
