Bob's Lobster At Terrace

Was really shocked and sad to learn that the wait staff don't get ANY of the service charge here. Really you should be reported to trading standards, if the wait staff don't get any of the service charge and it all goes to management then it's not a service charge it's a management charge. You're deceiving your customers and doing your staff a disservice. A real shame as the staff were exceptional and the food was good too. I had a nice evening before going to see a play, it was primarily so nice because of the fantastic wait staff who were attentive and considerate. If I ever come here again in the future I will make a point of asking for my optional service charge to be removed from the bill and I'll give a cash tip to my very good waiter. I'd advise others to do the same.

I was there last week, there was a young man who greeted us at the door who was very friendly and attentive. The lobster rolls themselves were fabulous, and I enjoyed it with a lovely Margherita. All staff were great, would highly recommend.

We ate at the Bob’s lobster at Terrace before seeing a play. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and attentive. The food was delicious and came promptly, in time for our play. We would recommend to anyone wanting to eat a meal before enjoying the delights of one of the national theatre productions.

Great service (attentive, friendly staff and quick), great views of the river, beautiful mellow ambience, good value for money. If going for pre-show staff helpfully check to make sure you’re on time for the beginning. Food tasty and portions reasonable for the price. Would visit again for a chilled spot in an otherwise hectic area of london.
