Affogato - Central Dr, Hornchurch

Honestly save your money and go elsewhere. They didn’t have halloumi yet most of the menu contains halloumi. The chicken made me want to vomit. I don’t even think the chicken was fresh or from a good meat shop. I didn’t even bother raising this with the waiter as I didn’t feel anyone cared why I left the burger (see picture). Can’t believe this is what they serve.

Well it’s a lovely cafe friendly staff pleasant atmosphere, food and drinks are great. The way they interact with the children is fab, colouring straight away high chairs. Super comfy and cosy. With Wholesome food we all left feeling full. In the nicest way possible. Food was to a high standard I’d give it a 8.5. Only reason why I wouldn’t give 10 is for the fact service was slow. The cafe wasn’t busy.

Good food, nice atmosphere and great service. But it is little expensive. Worth trying though.

My father, mother and brother wanted to take my dad into the cafe when we saw the step we realized it would be difficult due to my father's wheelchair. While we were standing outside unsure if what to do, we were approached by a server and I presented her with our concern she said we're extremely busy and we have no ramp! I was shocked at her lack of concern and how she was so very quick dismiss of us and our prospective custom. We sadly ended up going somewhere else but we're left with a bad taste due to her lack of customer service or empathy for the situation. My father hardly goes out and to have been met with such abrupt disregard was unsettling and unkind. Gladly we will never be going again, although the cafe is overpriced and service never very good, regardless we thought to give it another chance and then this happened. I would, in my honest opinion, give it a miss and give another establishment your busines.

I went there for dinner with my hubby 2 children. We enjoyed the food. Mine was Mexican Beef Burger, I swapped potato chips with sweet potato chips, they're generous in portion, I love it! They hv kids meals too and generous portion. And we had Strawberry Nutella pancakes as desserts. It was yummy. I always preferred to eat Pancakes with vanilla ice cream so I ordered one and it was perfect
