Ordered, 2 double quarter pounders with Medium fries and cheese dippers and were given 20 chicken nuggets, bigmac and 2 pain cheeseburgers with nothing else in it than curger, roll ancheese. With I Didnt check the bag, I prob should have and I didnt return as had already sat through a 15 minute drive home through traffic. We were p'eed off as what we got was rubbish, plain and bore no resemblance to our order. I will never never return. They don't bother answering the phone either. I mean it's not rocket science is it. Think it was a manager that handed the bag to the young girl at the window.
It couldn't have been worse. We arrived at the restaurant, placed our order, and then waited 25 minutes for it to be prepared. Nobody came to bring it to our table, so it sat on a trolley for half an hour before we finally managed to get someone's attention after 5 minutes.
Popped in for a quick bite to eat after a working weekend away. I understand working in the hospitality industry is hard with little thanks but honestly this was the worst McDonald’s experience I have encountered. Firstly the food was not hot, just Luke warm, there was no milk for my tea, friend had the wrong latte given, no forks for our salads and no dressing that was ordered. To top it off I bit into my millionaire’s doughnut and it was rock hard and totally stale, had to get it replaced. Three times we had to go to the counter to get things rectified. Good job we didn’t order to take away. I don’t understand not reading basic orders properly or putting out stale food. Personally I feel we should have got a partial refund but my friend wanted to go, none if it was nice sadly. Will make a complaint, but I don’t expect to get anywhere. McDonald’s used to be a quick, reliable treat, now it’s not that cheap and everything comes out wrong and mostly cold. Treating their customers with a we don’t care attitude.
Ordered breakfast on app 10.48 am No deliveries so changed to pick up All seemed to go through ok got to McDonald’s ha sorder jo but said on app order not completed told Me at speaker not to cancel and reorder as it was almost 11 and wouldn’t go through go to window and sort so I drive to window and explain they say can’t do it your too late Asked to speak to manager he wasnt interested said there was nothing he could do appalling customer service ! Then later on this evening ordered a meal to be delivered got meal chicken wrap was ok and fries however the drink was warm and Flat meant to be Diet Coke couldn’t drink it no straw was provided and also had ordered a doughnut and That was missing !! Two bad experiences in one day never used to be like this don’t know what’s happened ! Have put in a complaint will wait to see what customer services come Back with if anything they really need to sort this out though or They will lose customers !
I am truly disappointed with the way the staff at this restaurant treated a young boy who came in today. He was not very tall or strong and seemed to lack self-confidence, yet he only ordered a chicken mayo meal. He paid with cash, but they did not give him a receipt. When he got to the front of the line, the manager claimed they couldn't find his order and turned him away. The poor boy left in tears, feeling defeated. It is truly heartless the way this McDonald's staff treated him. If it hadn't happened so quickly, I would have bought him a meal myself. If you work here, you should be ashamed of how you treated this boy. Please, if you know him, let him know that I am deeply sorry for what happened and that he did not deserve it. Let's all work together to ensure his self-confidence and social confidence are not further damaged.
