Bidra med feedbackUgly Mugs is a great place to come for craft beer, great food with a wide varand friendly service.
This place use to be another Little Sheba's but to my understanding the owners changed the name (I do not know if the menu changed any). This is a small local restaurant in Centerville, IN. It is super cute on the inside with a beautiful historic bar. But that's about the only good things this place has. I wish I could give it a better review. It has so much potential but it is missing. We went late in the evening there was very few people inside. And the service was so slow! We ordered 2 sandwiches and chicken wings. It took almost 40 minuets for our food to come out. And what came out was very disappointing. We also had to request drink refills each time we needed one. When you order boneless bbq chicken wings you expect the wings to come coated in sauce. Instead it was basically large popcorn chicken pieces with bbq dipping sauce. The chicken tasted like it came from a frozen pre-made bag. I did not try the sandwiches but the people at the table who ate them said they were just ok. It such a shame this place isn't better than what it is. It's not too far from the interstate and could get a lot of business if they can improve service and have better food. Word of mouth and yelp could take this place far.
Had the salmon with the Asian sauce. Salmon was very good, however, it was suppose to come with rice pilaf, which was not on my plate. The steamed veges were okay. I still don't understand why fresh vegetables are used rather than veges that come in a bag. My husband had the Fort Wayne hoagie steak and he indicated it was very good. Service was good. The place was hopping.
Good food, creative menu, friendly service, and a decent beer selection. I like it.
I had the Queen Sheba and it was very tasty with the Carolina Style BBQ sauce and pretzel bun. My husband's Rueben could definitely used more sauerkraut and the kettle chips were not homemade. The poor rating is for the very slow and poor service. Our waitress totally disappeared, tracked down another gal to find our waitress to no avail. Got a third person to finally help. Then when we go to our car...both gals are on cellphones in the Parking Lot!
