Bidra med feedbackWe were attracted to this place by the name, location and reviews. It was our first time there. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the wait staff seemed happy to have us there. We arrived a little after 8am and the place quickly filled up with people. The food was outstanding. I had pork chops and they were so juicy and flavorful. The pancakes were heavenly. My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito with green chili sauce.
Huge portions and such a unique blend of flavors! I really like their choices on the menu! The venue was so nice! We got the very well sought after biscuits and gravy, and the shrimp and grits are to die for. Honestly, I have never had better grits! Yes it is a little up there on price, but the portions make it worth it, and honestly with fast food generally costing around $9, paying a few dollars extra for a more substantial and better tasting meal is worth the difference!!!
This is a wonderful restaurant. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating: highly recommend and definitely will be back!!! Try the cinnamon rolls! Best I’ve had in years. Thank you staff…definitely make customers feel welcome
The hour long wait was worth it. I had trouble deciding what to order, so we ended up getting sausage biscuits and gravy, a complimentary meat griddle cake, and the upstate frittata with gravy. Everything was freshly made and delicious. I couldn't finish it all, but it reheated well. If the frittata had black olives, it would have reminded me of dining at a Greek diner in Syracuse. Overall, the food was solid and satisfying.
I used to live across the street from this restaurant. This was my first time back since the pandemic, and I was pleased to find that the food is still great with generous portions. The service has changed, as you now pay before being seated, but overall the restaurant is still busy and the food never disappoints.
