Connie's Family - Cedaredge

Been here once before in the morning for breakfast and it was your typical cafe, decent food. Went today at 1130am on a Sunday. Waited ten minutes to get a menu, waited an hour to get six chicken nuggets/fries and a Philly cheese steak. All the food came cold. I mentioned the nuggets were cold, they said they'd replace them. The cook came and placed a plate of nuggets on our table, I said thank you, we got no response from this younger cook and she gave my kid the death stare while placing the plate down. I get it, if you're busy in the late morning on a Sunday. But you still need to do your job and do it respectfully. Hire more cooks and servers. The entire place was packed with one server taking all the tables. Come on...

I like eating. like most restaurants in cedaredge it is a hole in the wall and when they flash it they miss it. it is a great, inexpensive restaurant. the best breakfast in the city of my opinion. they are only open to 2 which is terrible.

Typical diner menu, but our party of six had a nice lunch and the best arnold palmers ever!

Eating was terrible: I have food poisoning as soon as I am home! Do not eat at this place unless they want to pluck their poor for an hour!

Waiting her personal was very friendly and it seemed like many locals like it here. cheeseburger was good, but monte cristo lacked glamour. the front door was not.
