Sugarfire Cedar Rapids

I'm from Kansas City where they have great BBQ restaurants but here in IowaNot so much have tried 3 places here and nothing to write home about q dogs closed who will be next?

This was the worse BBQ I 've ever had. It tasted oven cooked pork feigning as smoked. Boiled potatoes with celery and mayo is not potato salad. I won 't be ordering again.

Boring Barbeque Joint, nothing special. Burnt ends were cold and bland, 8 or so different sauses available but none of them were very good.Points for having an off-brand soda fountain, that was a nice touch to help the atmosphere, and the jalepenos hush puppies were nice and crunchy with plenty of flavor.

Food is great and the people who work there seem fantastic. Love the special daily sides that they come up with as well.

Food prices didn't match up with the food quality. Brisket and turkey sandwiches were completely dry had no flavor besides the sauce we added to the sandwiches. Up in smoke will forever have my money in the future.
