La Casita Breakfast Cafe - Cedar Rapids

Excellent breakfast. We visited and wanted something local. This diner checked all the boxes. Friendly staff, great service and delicious food. I couldn't decide if I had a sweet or hearty breakfast. Cinnamon Roll French Toast was wonderful and the salmon cake Eggs Benedict was very tasteful. Very recommended if you are in Cedar Rapids.

Absolutely one of the best culinary experiences of my life. The staff were amazingly friendly and you could say that they really enjoy talking to their customers and regulars. The food was God's beast. The Philly Steak Omelet was probably one of the best things I've ever eaten. All ingredients tasted fresh and amazing, and all for only 13 dollars. To make everything from the atmosphere was incredible!!! From all shields and memories to random things like a $20 bill on the wall, the place felt so special, and the stories that accompany them are amazing. I ate at the counter where there were 2 Batman symbols on the counter. I was told that a father and son were eating, and the father took one of his sons toys and threw it on the grill and then pressed it on the counter to make the brand. These little stories and items around the store mixed with amazing service and food make Riley one of the best restaurants in Iowa, hands down. You made a new tribe from me!

The best diner for breakfast in Cedar Rapids. Several locations, but I like First Avenue best. Florentine Eggs Benedikt: freshly baked spinach, fresh tomato slices, perfectly polished eggs, a delicate Hollandaise. Order the houseries. $9.62 with tax. There is a large table for groups (often divided by smaller parties) and about a dozen cabins. Parking on the street or in the small background.

Everything you would expect from a diner. The staff was friendly, the food was fantastic, every bit loved.
