Suzukaze Japanese - Cebu City

This restaurant is very good. Staffs are very accommodating. Also, the prices of the food are reasonable.

Suzukaze is a centrally located Japanese restaurant with an address in Vibo Place. The menu is really extensive from: Tempura to Don items to Ramens to Sushi, etc. It offers a whole lot of choices. The food that we ordered had a fairly decent size for the price we paid. Taste-wise, not as authentic as originally expected.

This Japanese restaurant is conviniently located in Vibo place, Escario. Parking and accessibility isn't a problem. Food here is not that flavorful as compared to other Japanese restaurants in the city. The gyudon had a small serving for the size of the bowl. The sushi was breaking apart the moment I picked it up with my chopsticks. Their sukiyaki soup was too little and lacked flavor as I would have preferred. Overall, this restaurant has potential. I like seeing the servers in their kimono outfit and their service and hospitality is without a doubt, top-notch. Sadly, I wish I could say the same for the food. Their plating and ingredients are good but just lacks flavor. I do hope this restaurant can correct this.

Not as good as expected for claiming to be the number japanese dessert . Had both flavors of the shu cream mango and cherry and it was definitely a disappointment. We came in because of the, I guess, self proclaimed number one best japanese dessert. It was really not enjoyable. It was dry and the cream was very very runny. Can't speak for the food , but if this is some of the best they offer , I'm not sure what to think about it. Probably won't be coming here again and wouldn't recommend. The service was very slow for two items that are already cooked and the price is very high considering the quality. I will It is well decorated and a very attractive restaurant inside and out. The servers are kind and you get complimentary tea and those are the only good things.
