House of Lechon - Cebu City

Went there on a Sunday. We thought that after 2pm would be not as crowded as lunch time, but it was crowded. We had to wait 10mins or so for a table to be available. It was so noisy in there. I chose to write down our orders on a piece of paper so that i would not yell my order. Food was good. Carcar special lechon was delicious, the spicy one was too spicy for us we cant tell if it was well seasoned or nit bec the chili will hit you first. Grilled tuna belly was good as well as the baked scallop although small. The only thing I didnt like was the kilawin bec for me it has no taste and was marinated in coconut milk and a souring agent not sure if it was vinegar or calamansi. Not the usual kilawin I liked. Over all food was great. Service, was ok. The crowd will be gone by 330pm or 4pm.

I choose this place because it was near to my hotel. Nice ambiance. The foods are at affordable price. I ordered 3 dishes; 1/4 kg Special Carcar Lechon, Oysters Sisig Baked Scallops. Actually i came for the Lechon and as expected, it was amazingly delicious. Same goes for the 2 dishes too.

House of Lechon is the best! Awesome place to eat with friends; friendly servers and staff they even sing a birthday song for birthday celebrants!

This was By Far the best Lechon we have ever had! After traveling all across the Philippine Islands trying Lechon, House of Lechon is ona league of its own. By 11am they were already bringing our their second set of roasted pigs and prepare it right in the dining room for all to see. The prices were so affordable and the quality was outstanding. This is wroth a trip to Cebu all on its own!

The Cebu Lechon here was good, skin was crispy, meat was tender and not smelly but weird thing was we ordered first kg of lechon and it was served on small plate but the second kg was served on bigger plate with bigger portion. I wonder if my first kg of Lechon was only half kg. We came here on Tuesday around 12pm and the restaurant was full of people, we waited for about 15 minutes and got a place.
