My first visit was Sept. 2021. I hadn't heard of Row Fourteen and my lodging host recommended it. I was alone, came early, and sat outdoors. The food blew my socks off so fresh and creative. Vegetarians would be very happy here. I ate at four of the Okanagan's and two of Vancouver's best restaurants after Row Fourteen on my trip, but it had set the bar for me. I have been talking about it ever since.So, when another trip to the area with a friend was being planned, Row Fourteen was first on our list. We had the Locavore menu with wine pairings and every single course was perfect. Chef Derek Gray is super creative and also lets the ingredients speak for themselves. We were lucky, as it wasn't a busy night, to have Annamarie, the other Row Fourteen owner, as our server. She was so personable and informative.
My husband and I recently had lunch at Row Fourteen. We ordered the Harvest Menu and were so happy we did. We received 7 small vegetarian courses, followed by a main course of chicken with hummus and broccolini. We liked all of the vegetarian dishes but particularly loved the radishes with honey; the padron peppers; and the beets. The main course was outstanding: seriously, possibly the best chicken I've ever had. The servers were friendly and professional and we enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. We will definitely return to Row Fourteen the next time we are this area.
We have enjoyed row 14 on a couple of occasions in the past, and this evening the experience was every bit as good as our previous experience. The food was delightful and exciting. Very interesting combinations of flavors. Lovely staff. The cider was also excellent. We would highly recommend this to anybody looking for an adventure with their dining. We will definitely return!
Lunch is a treat with the field harvest menu. The chef provides garden fresh delights with a great sausage and dessert. Five small courses make this a great lunch. Service is still great with humor and competence. Good wine list and nice beers and their own cider.
