Zino - Cavtat

Even the pasta at this restaurant is made with eggs, which they claim is normal and only found in specialized restaurants. The pizza dough is also sometimes made with milk, depending on the person preparing it. Despite this, the owner still labels the food as vegan. It seems they do not fully understand the concept of veganism. I believe this restaurant should be removed from HappyCow.

This restaurant is in competition with other nearby restaurants in offering vegetarian main courses, however, the grilled vegetables, fries, and salad I ordered were not anything out of the ordinary.

This city is a very touristic place so I don't expect much. As a vegan, I could order the same at this place as any random restaurant in Croatië...drilled vegetables, frits, a salad and a pizza without cheese.

The lunch was enjoyable, but there weren't many vegan choices available. I ended up having a salad since the pasta contains eggs and the pizza dough contains milk.

It will do considering the surrounding restaurants struggle to even provide vegetarian main courses, but nothing special about the grilled veg, fries and salad I ordered.
