Castaneda Mexican Food - Cathedral City

Don't you eat here, typical 9-5 workers working with terrible attitudes, the food was literally cold? The idiots gave me the food when I just didn't say! You this place at all costs, other locations are better

I always go to this location when I go to Castañeda's. The staff always greets you with a smile and never rush you with your decision or make you feel like they're in a hurry. The food is always good here. The carne asada burritos, carne asada tacos and beef chimichangas are my favorite. They have a drive-thru if you're in a hurry, and if you want to sit down, they have a nice clean lobby. Definitely recommend this place.

Any tourists that see this, DO NOT EAT HERE. The one on INDIAN CANYON IS BETTER AND THEY CARE. If you like greasy tortillas used for burritos this place gots you. Oh you need to make sure you have a day or two to spare for toilet time. This place has untrained cooks do not follow health protocols. Will be sending health inspectors ASAP

I'm a fan. Big portions of tasty Mexican food. Open 24 hours. Drive through in most locations. Crispy tacos and rolled tacos are great, especially fresh from the fryer. Chilli rellenos are cheesy and covered in enchelada sauce. It's not gourmet, but it's cheap, fast and easy.

Upon entering we were questioning our decision. Chairs were stacked on the table and there was only one table with patrons. It was the evening of the 4th July. However, the staff greeted us quickly, they were friendly and helpful. It was our first visit and they were patient allow us plenty of time to order as we were unfamiliar with the menu. We ordered the beef burrito, tacos and beef chimichangas. The potions were good size, the price was good. The food had a good flavor and we all enjoyed our meal.
