Bidra med feedbackEl restaurante es agradable y el café es excelente. Sin embargo, los baños necesitan limpieza, están sucios y llenos de agua en el piso. La situación de los baños es bastante desagradable. Un par de ventiladores no estarían de más.
During my work trip I spent two work sessions here, as the internet was good, they had pleasant outside seats on the 1st floor with plugs and a decent selection of tee that is not so common in this part of mexiko. I wanted to rent a kajak without dealing with the tourist sharks at the street corner, and these types called a keerl, checked if he was free, and went down there.
Great place to hang out. Love, love the decor and ambiente. clean bathroom and excellent customer service. they have hammocks that they can use! I've never been to a café/culture store where you can sit or lie down! asome! comes back. I also like the opening times!
While passing through lovely Catemaco this morning I stopped by La Casa de Los Tesoros for what I thought was going to be a quick breakfast. Little did I realize that I was about to experience one of the high points of my trip to...Mexico. What a fabulous experience was this morning 's breakfast! First, my omelet was fantastic. Light, fluffy, full of fresh ingredients, and amazingly inexpensive for the quality and for the portion size. In truth, I wasn 't able to finish it all, and I 'm hardly what you would call a small guy. Then, my traditional hand made Mexican hot chocolate was to die for. Creamy, chocolatey, and oh so gooood! That was the best hot chocolate that I 've had since my last visit to Oaxaca. The service was impeccable with the proprietor, Jessica, coming over to my table several times to make me feel just as home as I could possibly feel. I was so pleasantly surprised when she greeted me in easy to understand English (her light Latina accent was absolutely charming! . What a treat that was. Then there 's the ambience. The café is tastefully integrated with a wonderful gift shop where the proprietors showcase hand made Mexican crafts not simply, as one might expect, articles made locally in the Greater Catemaco area, but a panoply of diverse crafts that cover the length and the breadth of all of Mexico. I was able to buy my wife several articles of traditional Mexican clothing while also picking up several wonderful sculptures to further decorate my garden. What a blessing, and what a time saver. I finished all of my shopping in one place and had a great meal at the same time. What could have been better? This place is absolutely appropriately named. It is truly a House of Treasures nestled in sleepy Catemaco. In my humble opinion La Casa de Los Tesoros is a must stop if you 're anywhere near Catemaco. Even more so, make a special trip. You won 't be disappointed.
