L'ancora Da Enzo - Catania

Meat was not enough cooked, salad with animals, waitress very slow and interior very bad. I never will eat here again.

One of the best meals we had in our 3 years of living in Sicily. Everything on the menu looked awesome so we opted to have them bring us whatever the chef recommended; definitely a good idea! We were not disappointment with our variety of seafood appetizers (6-8), pasta with artichokes and shrimp, and grilled seafood plate. Also enjoyed a good bottle of wine and the best, what I believe was flourless chocolate cake I have ever had. And all with great service at a very reasonable price. Don't miss L'Ancora da Enzo. L'ancora is a small family runned restaurant at the centre of Catania, their speciality is fish but you'll find other dishes suitable for people that do not eat fish. If you want to try something unique for the freshness of the product and the way its cocked, the try the Tuna Fish wich is almost raw and served with sesame seeds, lettuce and strawberries, for me it is worth three michelin star. Enzo, is a great chef and host !
