L'acqua O' Linzolu - Catania

My wife and me had a dinner there and I would say our overall imprecision was positive. We ordered see food which was fresh and well prepared. The wine selections is good as well. Service was modest not bad but not excellent. I would recommend the place only for the location and atmosphere. Note: be careful with the final bill some of the items was with 1 2 euros more than the menu general practice to get their tip.

I was here for lunch with my boyfriend and our food (a mix grilled fish and service provided were absolutely low rate! The owner had a very unprofessional attitude either when I asked if I could have some tissues (she was not looking at me and replied with a cold and annoyed answer and when we made her aware that close to us they were cleaning the market square and all the dirty was coming up towards the tables outside! The table next to us, a French mid-age couple, was waiting for their pizza so long and when it arrived, it was completely uncooked (not really a good impression for a Sicilian restaurant! . They made it and bring back for 2 times more but always in the same initial status, until the couple fed up and left the place. I'm originally from Sicily too and I felt embarrassed for them and the bad services they provided. I would say in Catania there are lots of lovely places with extremely high quality food and service, so please keep an eye around before leaving the city with a bad memory!

Although our food came considerably quicker than anyone else's, I cannot express how terrible the meal was. We also waited at least 30 minutes for the bill despite asking several times, and was nowhere near value for money.

Me and my young daughter waited at least 40 mins for our food. And the pasta were undercooked and very dry/ tasteless . The mixed fish were sicking greasy that I felt sick whole evening after eating it. When we asked for bill, waiter asked why we left so much and we politely said that we just not used to the taste. And then the waiter told us to wait for one second and he will bring the the bill. Surprisingly , he went for for a cigeratte right next to us and made us wait for at least 20 mins for the bill. My young daughter wasn't happy as she was so tired that she just wanted to go back to hotel. The whole experience was terrible. The food, the price and the service. Not worthy!

We loved this restaurant and returned to it. Antipasti and pastas are great! Listen to the recommendation of the staff! The guys there are really friendly, Lulu, the owner's dog is adorable! Worth to try!
