Bidra med feedbackWasn 't impressed with the food Five Stars Thaitanic has 5 locations across Western Sydney serving Thai cuisine. They offer, dine in, take away, delivery and catering options available. The Casula restaurant is located at Casula Mall with minimal seating available to dine in. I felt like Thai food for dinner but I probably should have eaten left overs as I would have been more satisfied. The restaurant was busy so the food must be good, I was wrong. Not sure why they chose the name Five stars when my food and experience did not meet those standards. The restaurant was dimmed and the tables were sticky to touch. The restaurant was so small that there was nowhere to stand to place an order. The kitchen/cashier set up looked like I was ordering at a food court. It was dirty and cluttered. The vegetables were frozen and not fresh. I felt like ox tongue with sticky rice but they had neither. I ordered a Pad See Ew, BBQ lamb ribs and coconut rice to take away. My order took a while to receive. The Pad See Ew barely had flavour and vegetables weren 't plentiful. It did not taste like what I am use to eating and it did not have the 'wok ' flavour. The garnish of bean sprouts didnt look appetising either. Noodles were soft. The BBQ lamb ribs were very sweet. The vegetables underneath were not stir fried, they were boiled and because the cook did not drain the water completely, the sauce on the vegetables were watered down. The vegetables were firm and not very appetising. The lamb was relatively soft. The garnish (bunch) of shredded carrot was way too much, coriander would have been sufficient. The coconut rice was just coconut milk stirred through jasmine rice. It would have been nice if they added shredded coconut and toasted sesame seeds on top for texture. It was soggy and sweet. Verdict: They should pay more attention to cleanliness of the restaurant, room to order and presentation of their food. Wont be back to try the rest of the menu as food lacked flavour.
Pretty ordinary Thai food to say the least. The Pad see ew was different than any I had before, it was served with wheatgrass put all over the top and it wasn't cooked. The curry was bland and it lacked spice plus it tasted like they put syrup in it. Satay Sticks were good but that was about it. Service was friendly and efficient, price was cheap just the food isn't up to scratch.
That was my first and last order of thaitanic. the ordered chicken pillows se eew when they arrived the noodles were hanging together, huh very dry and it was so salty I couldn't even eat it. what a waste of money.
We been there on Saturday and the service was very very bad. We went there at 2:20 PM and we wanted to *Dine-In* but the lady there said We are only taking *Take-away orders*, because we are closing at 3PM. We still had 40 minutes left. There was not a single sign or note saying Only Take-aways now . We had a kid with us and they did *not* even allow us to eat there. We always go there and we never beenIn this situation before. We had to starve. This is not a Take-away shop, this is a *Dine-In shop*. Looks like there's a new management in this shop who doesn't respect their own customers.
I do not recomened anyone to eat here, I found a dead fly in my food. I wish I had the heads before ordering from thaitanic!!!!(Disgusting)
