Church's Chicken - CASTROVILLE

Ordered 2 of the $6 box special, 2 chicken strips, 4 shrimp, side and biscuit. Decided this was the worst meal we 've eaten from Church 's. The chicken strips were tiny and very tough. Not sure how long they were sitting out, but they were definitely not freshly fried. The 4 shrimp were a joke! They were all breading! We each ordered the cheese bombers instead of the fries. They weren 't crispy on the outside, but still had the best flavor of the whole meal. The biscuit wastiny, and it was also tough. Overall- we won 't be ordering that special again! The photos I 've included show how small ALL items were in the box. The shrimp photo shows one with breading and one without breading or tail. Less than 1 biteof shrimp.

I was the only customer and it took a few minutes to get my order and it was not correct or fresh. I ordered the regular 8PC Mixed, 2 Large Sides 4 Biscuits and jalapeño bombers. I received 8 dry spicy pieces of chicken that I did not ask for. 1 large side not 2 and 4 Lightly flavored hard biscuits. The receipt had no phone number to call them. Very disappointing first and last visit!

Stopped by 20 minutes before closing. Could hear speaker at drive thru complaining about car (me) that just pulled up. Wouldn't take my order. Pulled up to window, waited even honked. No body. Went to go inside and doors were locked. Signage clearly marking hours on door. Side door open with manager and employee washing dishes, asked for help and told me they were closed. (It's now 9:50pm). Went next door to Bushes chicken (5 minutes before they close) ordered andreceived chicken no problem. Gave girl $20 tip. Will never go back to Churches. There are 4 places serving fried chicken in our small town???
