Billy Bob's Hamburgers - CASTROVILLE

Burgers have good taste, but it only takes about 5 minutes for the rolls to get soggy with the veggies or whatever they are stuck in them. It is better to eat there and hurry to avoid this problem. We took them to go, but stopped because we have to throw the rolls away when we get home. I love the chicken nuggets there, the fries not so much.

The catfish is absolutely delicious. Fries, hush puppies and Coleslaw were also good. The cake sauce was also delicious. Reminds me so much of my favorite restaurant at home. I was quite disappointed that they didn't give me my third coat of arms. I ordered a 3 piece fish basket, but when I came home, I only had 2 pieces. Otherwise I have no complaints! Great food and friendly staff?

For the first time food here and several employees recommended the catfish plate. Food was good, fish was crispy, hushpuppies were crispy on the outside and moist inside with good jalapeno taste. Fries were fresh, hot and crispy. The food came out pretty fast. The prices were fair, but the 2 pieces fish plate was a little less fish than I expected, and I would definitely recommend the 3 pieces with a moderate appetite. Everything was perfect until I came to Koleslawin. Inside I found a large 1 piece of plastic that almost like a pull-off cap from a dressing bottle or something. The Koleslaw was also good, just had to spit out the piece of plastic. Nevertheless, I still gave 5 stars as I was surprised by the quality of the food. I could come back to try the burgers, I'll pass Castroville and Hondo once in a while.

That was my first time I had eaten by Billy's bob, I read a review that said to double on meat because they are thin. But honestly, one would have been enough, I guess it just depends on how much u eat. I got them with egg and it was delicious when I got my order my frits were fresh, very hot and crispy. I would definitely eat again from here.

This place was really cool. Loved the decor and the vibe this location gave off. The prices surprised me greatly. Everything was really fair priced which is nice considering the issues surrounding prices for food these days. I will definitely be coming back again someday. I should also add the burgers were good lol
