Bidra med feedbackLunch at Pao Quente was great. Simple portuguese menu at affordable prices. Friendly service, visited mainly by locals.
I live in Algarve an hour from this restaurant but just had an excellent meal here. Chicken meaty and very juicy, chips home made , salad plenty of it lots of tomato cucumber , onion etc. Wine in a jug good quality. Ecellent coffee. 24 Euros for 2 including full cover.
Nice restaurant with typical portuguese food. Recommend the grilled fish and meat. Staff polite but slow, they can improve. Price normal for this kind of restaurant. 2 adults and 2 kids , wine and 2 deserts around €50 Is a good option
We were staying close by and needed a restaurant with an outside terrace where we could sit with our dog, who frets if left alone in the car in a place she does not know. This place was superb. We were well looked after, water was brought unsolicited for the dog, and we had an excellent lunch (bacalhau a bras plus delicious home made desserts) The terrace is not the most elegant place, but it is under cover. From the moment I went in to enquire about a table, to the moment we left, we could not have been more cordially treated. Pricewise, very reasonable. Sunday lunch was packed with locals who obviously know how to enjoy their food never a bad sign!
We were staying nearby and by the recommendation of our hotel, we decided to give Pao Quente a go. It was full of only locals but the staff speak great English and are super helpful. We had the seafood rice for 2 people, and it was delish!! Do not judge by The interior or exterior. Just trust that it is local food cooked by locals enjoyed by locals.
