Viking - Castletown

This is typical of the restaurant trade. You are only as good as your last meal. We used to go regularly but it seemed to go down hill (I’m talking at least ten years ago). Not been since until it was recommended recently. The fair lady and I had the best lamb shanks we have ever tasted there last week. Have booked again with more friends.

Its always a favourite of ours just before the practice for the S100! Pie and Chips or Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas are outstanding!

Had a great lunch here Food was genuinely home cooked and wholesome. Very reasonably priced. Owner put the table tennis table out for the kids and could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend. Thanks

I visited Viking for the first time and it was fantastic! The homemade meals were delicious, especially the fish and chips and scampi chips. The desserts were also outstanding. The service was friendly and excellent. I've eaten at many places in the Isle of Man, but I will definitely return to this one. It's definitely worth a visit!
