New China - CASTLEMAINE

This restaurant is very unassuming on the outside, but is quiet large on the inside and has a rich oriental decor.<br/ <br/ The wait staff is friendly, prompt and on point. That being said, we came here midweek and during winter, so it was not very busy.<br/ <br/ The menu is large and varied, and not just Chinese. They also have Thai, Indonesian and Western dishes amounts others. <br/ <br/ We had the San Choy Boa for entree, King Prawn in XO sauce and special fried rice for main and deep fried ice cream for desert. Every one of these dishes were delicious and they were well portioned. <br/ <br/ It is definitely a place that we would come back to.

I have been getting takeaway from The New China for years, it's amazingly consistent with fresh food and yum dishes. The staff are friendly and service fast.

Really loved the speed of their orders, enjoyed the crispy skin duck the fried ice cream. Determined to be a bit more adventurous with my menu choices next time. Great service, thanks!<br/
