The dishes served are just perfect, the cooking, the seasonings are harmonious. mix of subtle and delicate flavors, wonderfully accompanied by a wine recommended by the very attentive patron. the staff is in small care and very professional. a big thank you to the whole team for this unforgettable meal!
No surprise this is number 1 on TripAdvisor- well deserved!From the food, the service, the wine to the amazing courtyard seating.....We are fortunate enough to dine in some very nice restaurants in the U.K and I can honestly say this tops any 2 star Michelin restaurant!Mario the owner spends time with every table talking through the menu, the local wine and the history of the restaurant- he even told us where the veg, tomatoes and meat comes from..The meal was a taste sensation and reasonable priced! Do yourself a favour and book a table...Thank you Mario and team the evening was amazing.
This year again we went there, and every time it is a real pleasure for the papillae, not to mention that mario always has the word to laugh. since 2009 we have taken the lobster menu and every year it is disputed! and what to say from her little meringues to the violet, it is sublime!!! don't hesitate, this restaurant is worth a visit
It is a real pleasure to find the table of the amphitoryon every year.First of all, from the entrance, there is the welcome of mario that gives the tone: you are welcome in its antre dedicated to gastronomy and conviviality! the setting is charming: a beautiful stone vaulted room of the gard and a pleasant interior courtyard during hot summer evenings. Then the service: impeccable and smiling. and finally, the map: it evolves and reinvents itself constantly. It's an explosion of flavors from amusing mouth to dessert, a festival of taste buds, a gastronomic adventure! everything is worked in the finesse and justness: the magnificent products are sublimated by the cooking and all the more subtle arrangements than others. No useless fioriture in the amphitryon! everything is controlled and requires no superfluous artifice. a lobster menu (to fall for those who like crustaceans) is also proposed in the summer. The dishes are enhanced by an agreement of dishes and wines that can only delight lovers. mario is a fine sommelier who always knows how to get you out the right bottle (and even in the glass it's always delicious) that will make you treat yourself even more !bref, an address like we would like to find more often ! We have never been disappointed. Thank you to mario, to his discreet leader and to the whole team.
