Furscher Muhle - CASTELROTTO

We only found this restaurant because it is near my friend's apartment and we walked past it by chance one evening. We are so glad we found it. The food is excellent and shows the passion and talent of the chef. Fresh, local and top quality ingredients are beautifully served The building is small with only a few tables but charmingly laid out. We read other reviews with problems with slow service but we did not experience any problems at all. It was quite delightful and we are definitely planning to come back.

A dinner here presents you with everything you can possible ask for when you want to have a special night out. The atmosphere of the old mill is very unique and it is tastefully decorated. The food is excellent and it is hard to believe that there is only one person in the kitchen, creating all of this. Finally, the service is very personal but not at all in your face. It is everything you want it to be.

Difficult to find a restaurant where everything is perfect, but this one is one of them! Beautiful place decorated with taste, amazing food and wine and perfect service!

Well worth going to but check directions first. It is a former farmhouse situated just outside Siusi. Menu is limited but the food is fresh and very good. The views from the property are outstanding! Very good selection of wines despite the small size of the property.

The restaurant is a unique old mill which has been restored beautifully. It is on three levels, is small and you will need to make a reservation. The surroundings are spectacular with the Sassalungo (Dolomiti) in the distance The food and presentation was excellent as was the service. The variety of breads were a treat. The tables were so beautifully set. They really pride themselves on local seasonal produce. Many, many thanks to Inga and Hannes Malfertheiner for a most memorable evening. My husband and I can highly recommend this restaurant.
