Awful. Disastrous. Nothing recommended. We ordered ham and cheese and it was plastic. The croquettes fatal. And the frying more of the same. Fatal service they threw our cutlery at us. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Terrible food, sometimes it did not match the menu. When we complained, the owner confirmed that he did not have a cook for the night. Unbeatable snack place. Very nice, next to one of the best beaches in Grao de Castellón. very nice staff

Stopped here for lunch when we found our first choice closed. Although we have been coming to this beach regularly for 12+ years, we have avoided La Goleta partly due to the mixed reviews and because there is no carta/menu posted at the entrance. Relaxed, garden setting just back from the beach (no view). Young male server very eager to be helpful. We shared three dishes (salad, stuffed mushrooms, puntilla) which were all very good, each with an individual twist. Prices for food very reasonable, and for drinks about average. As we enjoyed our meal very much, we thought the addition to the bill of 0.20 for ice with the coffee was amusing, but I can understand why a previous customer described it as stingy .
