Bidra med feedbackUnfortunately my experience with the restaurant wasn’t that good. The Paccheri were really good but the service quality was very poor. My sister is allergic to tomatoes and she specifically mentioned that and they brought her a course with tomatoes inside! We asked for a frittura mista and were told that the frier was busy and I wonder doing what? The only positive thing was the waiter called Feliciano. He was really nice and gentle all over the evening despite his colleague Pasquale who was very unprofessional.
We were here in the autumn with very little open at lunch time, a local store keeper told us this place was open for lunch. Meal was ok, wasn't a lot of choice with a couple of items on menu not available. For dessert we were told we could have Uva (grapes) some of the nicest grapes we have had on this trip to Italy.
50 euros/kilo was the price for this very good fish, very nice food quality but 60 Euros for a fish for 2,1 mixed salad and 1 coffee.
Antipasto, due primi ed un secondo. Tutto squisito. La gratinatura delle cozze non copriva per niente il sapore. Primo con gnocchetti ottimo, estremamente saporito. Servizio a tavola celere e preciso. Prima esperienza presso Villa Giusy estremamente positiva. Consiglio.
In this particular area of Italy there is plenty of activity when it's warm and sunny, but most business runs out in autumm and winter. Although the restaurant itself offers great food and excellent wines it lacks of quality atmosphere to be entertaining, but this might be linked to the period of the year. As expected the restaurant/hotel are family-run; the owner is clearly present and has some attention for its guests, but again this is somewhere October and not really the holiday season
