Chalet Del Gallo - CASTEL SAN GIOVANNI

While cycling along the southern bank of the Po I came across this wonderful restaurant. Although at 18 euro my menù fisso lunch was slightly more expensive than in many other similar restaurants, the food was well worth the extra coppers. The fusilli were hot and tasty, sliced roast beef perfectly cooked and salad fresh and crunchy. Wine and mineral water plus coffee. Good service and a fine view of the Po. Highly recommended.
