Trattoria Bric - Castagnito

What an amazing place. Genuine local cuisine cooked with flair and served with care. Full of locals on a Wednesday lunchtime. Really interesting menus and amazing wine list of local wines from Alba, Barolo, Great Mousse di prosciutto al tartufo bianco d'Alba, Coniglio arrosto followed by excellent cheese plate. All very reasonably priced. 155 Euros for three courses, coffee and two bottles of wine, Thoroughly recommended.

Located in quite a hidden location, this restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, all of which were well prepared and tasty. The visitors are mainly local. The wines are priced very reasonably. A whole meal for two with wine and desert would cost about 60 euros.

This place gave me the Culinary peak experience of my trip to Italy. I don't do pasta, and so I look for something special. I found it at this charming and genteel restaurant in Guarene, Piedmonte.
